Overview

(AGES SIX AND UP)

If you've always wanted to hone your skills as a singer, CML has the voice teacher for you. Our voice faculty focuses primarily on the songs and pieces you would like to learn. Each week, students are led through physical exercises to improve their vocal range, ear training, breath control, enunciation and more. Each student sets goals with their teacher, either to sound like their favorite recording artist, or to develop their own unique voice.

What's the #1 reason to study singing at CML?

Our voice instructors are warm and friendly, and get to know each student and parent on a personal level. We work with each individual or parent to craft a lesson plan that fits the student's unique needs and favorite type of music. Whether you're playing in local bands, a seven year old taking their first lesson, or a fifty year old returning to the piano after many years, our teachers will share their love for singing and help you set goals to achieve your musical aspirations.

Canada Music Lessons is a great place to get started on your singing journey.

What styles of singing do you teach?

Our voice teachers teach a variety of styles based on your goals and interests.

We teach all styles from classical, pop, gospel, jazz, to your favorite songs. If you

are looking to sing classically and take exams or if you are looking to sing for

enjoyment we have a teacher that will suit your goals.

How qualified are CML singing instructors?

CML holds a high level of expectation from our teachers. Our teachers either have formal music training or many years of professional performing to glean from.

Our voice and music instructors have received their education from prestigious institutions, with some having completed more than one degree in their area of study. Our teachers are experts in their field. Some of our teachers have written their own curriculum and some have many years of professional performance experience to add value into your lessons

What will I learn from singing lessons at CML?

Voice students spend time each week doing physical exercises to improve their vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation and more. All voice students set goals with their teacher to work on sounding like their favorite recording artists, or if they prefer, to develop their own unique voice.

Are there voice recitals?

Absolutely! Every December and June, our students have the opportunity to perform in a supportive and encouraging environment. Unlike most of our competitors, we do not charge students a fee to perform. And admission is free, so you can invite all of your family and friends.
