Our Woodwind teachers will help create the musical foundation to play a band instrument while keeping things fun and engaging for students. If you are looking to take stand alone lessons and learn from scratch or if you are looking for supplemental lessons to enhance what you are currently learning in a band program, our teachers will be able to help you reach your goals!

What woodwind instruments are offered?
Canada Music Lessons offers instruction in saxophone, flute, clarinet and recorder. Our teachers are specialized in helping beginners get started with good technique. Private lessons can be used together with the students' existing band participation or as stand alone lessons.
How qualified are CML woodwind teachers?
Our woodwind teachers have either formal music training or many years of professional performing experience. They have received their education from prestigious institutions, with some having completed more than one degree in their area of study. Our teachers are experts in their field, having experience teaching all ages and levels.
What will I learn from woodwind lessons at CML?
Woodwind students spend time each week working on technical skills to improve their embouchure as well as proper fingering and breathwork. Student will learn fun songs as well as technical exercises so they can continue to improve. Our teachers will help students fall in love with music as they gain mastery over the skills required to play.
Are there Woodwind recitals?
Absolutely! Every December and June, our students have the opportunity to perform in a supportive and encouraging environment. Unlike most of our competitors, we do not charge students a fee to perform. And admission is free, so you can invite all of your family and friends with no fees.
