What is the Dr. T. B. Neil Scholarship?
The Dr. T. B. Neil Scholarship is awarded each year to a deserving student in Canada.
The scholarship is valued at $1500.00 CAD and includes 1 full calendar year of weekly lessons.  


About the Founder 
Dr. T. B. Neil was passionate about supporting youth and encouraging them to reach for great heights in their personal lives and in their walks with God. He had a tremendous love for music and encouraged many students and young adults to learn to play instruments for the glory of God.  Dr. T.B. Neil was a philanthropist who gave locally, nationally and globally. He had a love for giving to others and building up his community.

Dr. T. B. Neil was a highly educated man with a Doctorate of Divinity from University in Biblical Study. He also was a Doctor of Philosophy in Theocentric Psychology with honours cum laude. He graduated St. Francis Xavier University with a diploma in Adult Education as well as being a graduate of Metallurgical and Quality Engineering Sciences of Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Alberta as being a registered professor.

Dr. T. B. Neil was the Bishop of churches in Athabasca, Fort McMurray, and St. Albert in Alberta, Canada, as well as being the President of Genesis Institute of Theology and Leadership. Dr. T.B. Neil was a prolific writer and wrote many books, some of which are used to instruct and teach at Genesis Theological Institute, seminars, and leadership training all over the world. Dr. T. B. Neil was a sought-after speaker who ministered in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and North America during his career.


Who can apply?
Any student looking to start or continue lessons in Canada can apply for this scholarship. The scholarship is open to current and new students. 

How do I apply? 
Fill in the application form below, which includes a current photo of the applicant. 
Complete applications must be submitted no later than December 31, 2023. Late entries will not be accepted.
